3) Mirror
4) Blood
5) Bible
6) Concept
7) Controlled
8) Skyward
9) Disembodied
If Slayer was a hardcore band, it would be called Kindred. Metallic, loud, and fast. This band hailed from Belgium and were only around for a short number of years in the 1990's. Heavy.

Tracklist:
1) Lie and Wait - Shattered
2) Overdose - Some Might Say
3) Overdose - Headcase
Two great bands that didn't get terribly big but should have. Lie and Wait hailed from Texas and were pretty heavy. Overdose came from Atlanta and members went on to join Foundation. This is one of my favorite splits even if it's only three songs.

1) Suffer
2) Scorched
3) Pilgrim
4) This Season
5) Lesser Man
6) Numb Again
7) Abattoir (Feast Upon)
8) Four Circles
9) Mourningside
10) Numb Again (Acoustic)
Another great band from the early - mid 90's that I wish were around today. 'Pilgrim' is still hard as hell. One of the members of Mean Season, the bassist (I believe), currently plays with Mike Vallely's band, Revolution Mother. Oof. At least there's hope for a Mean Season cover by that new band, right? Maybe?

3) Fact Leaves Its Ghost
4) Becoming A Stranger
5) Antithesis
6) Dead

8) Divinity
9) Blind
10) Sky
11) Down
12) Zodiac
13) Yesterday
14) Savior Salvation
15) But Life Goes On
Another band everyone knows, this is pre-Petitioning the Empty Sky. And this has some heavy hitters on it, especially Fact Leaves Its Ghost which has quite possibly the most evil riff they've ever written in it. I'm waiting for the day they start to play this stuff again, would be amazing.

1) Burn It
2) Symbols
3) Sunflower Princess
4) I Am Not Me
5) Everlasting
6) The Real
7) Pretty Face
This is my favorite release from this legendary band. It's surprisingly heavy compared to their later material. The singer also wrote some of my favorite lyrics from the 90's.

6) In Loving Kindness
7) Endure
8) The Children Cry For Help
9) Resistance
10) Song 1
By far my favorite era of this band; with their original singer. Loud, emotional, and an awesome record. Get this, because even Christians can play good breakdowns.

3) Roses (A Short Story)
4) Halloween
5) Dancing Lessons
6) She Consists Of Chloroform
I can't remember the amount of times that I've listened to this record. Definitely one of my top five favorite bands right now. The singer went on to form Kids Like Us...if only they were good. Fast, loud, and melodic. Get this.

1) Shadow
2) Innocent
3) Current
4) Burning
5) Prisoner
Among the best releases that New Age Records ever put out, in my opinion. Emotional and hard-hitting. The 1990's were such a good time for the genre.

Scott Vogel's band, pre-Terror, post-Slugfest. Such a good record, from one of the best frontmen in hardcore. Team Stagedive.

Not much to say about this one. You either love them or hate them (in which case, Brother's Keeper has no love for you). The singer later went on to unfortunately start the AKA's.

Heavy straight edge hardcore from the mid to late 90's. One of the guitarists apparently went on to play in Eighteen Visions (ouch). Weird.

One of my favorite bands to ever come out of the 90's hardcore scene. Every release they put out is solid, in my opinion. Too heavy.

7) Bad Girls (Donna Summer cover)
8) Dancing With Myself (Billy Idol cover)
9) Cars (Gary Numan cover)
10) Drunken At The Still Of Satan's Wealth
Integrity rules, plain and simple. I randomly came across this cd at a CD Warehouse for $2.99. I hadn't heard of this early release at all up until that point, but I had high expectations knowing it was a Integrity product, so I bought it. It's, well...just hear it for yourself. It's good/bad, and that Billy Idol cover is hilarious. Mosh.

This blog sparked from a thought shared by two great friends who wanted to spread the words and sounds of some of our favorite bands. It will simply be a place where we will post records from bands that have made an impact on our lives. This blog is dedicated to hardcore and that is primarily what will be posted.
If you like any of the bands or records posted on this blog, do what you can and support them. Go to shows if possible and buy a shirt, a record, anything. This is only used as an outlet to get the word out on bands that we listen to.
Updates regularly.
